Accenture is seeking a Custom Software Engineer with a strong focus on Risk Management to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In this role, you will develop custom software solutions, enhancing components across systems and applications using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will design, code, and deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. This position requires independent work and SME-level contribution, active participation in team discussions, and collaborative problem-solving. You will translate requirements into technical specifications, conduct code reviews, and ensure code quality. Key responsibilities include managing application vulnerability assessments and remediation, executing password rotations, and overseeing the full certificate lifecycle (renewal, deployment, validation). You will also coordinate upgrades for Java runtime environments, IBM MQ, SFTP components, and NDM/Connect:Direct. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Risk Management, demonstrating strong analytical skills for risk identification and mitigation strategies, and experience with risk assessment methodologies. Familiarity with software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, vulnerability management, patching, and system security is essential. Proficiency in Java, IBM MQ, SFTP, NDM/Connect:Direct, SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, truststores, encryption, and DevOps concepts (CI/CD, automation tools) is required.
