Accenture is seeking a Senior Custom Software Engineer to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing custom software solutions. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing applications tailored to specific business needs.
Your responsibilities will include leading the architecture and development of frontend applications using Next.js, defining reusable and maintainable frontend architecture, and establishing coding standards. You will build server-side rendered (SSR), static (SSG), and hybrid applications, develop reusable components with React, and optimize applications for performance, SEO, and accessibility.
This role involves integrating APIs, microservices, and third-party platforms, implementing caching strategies, and improving Core Web Vitals. You will ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness. A strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)/TypeScript, React.js concepts, state management, and styling frameworks is essential.
Key technical skills include proficiency in Next.js (App Router / Pages Router), React.js, SSR/SSG/ISR, and API routes. Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API), styling frameworks (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, Styled Components), REST APIs/GraphQL integration, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and version control with Git is required. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is highly beneficial.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Front End Development (FED) with Next.js. A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this position.
