NielsenIQ is seeking an enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team in India. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in cloud technologies, automation, and modern software delivery. You will support CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerized applications, working with development teams building applications in Python, Java, Node.js, and Angular. This position also provides exposure to GenAI-enabled DevOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities: * Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. * Support application deployments to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). * Help manage Kubernetes workloads using Helm Charts. * Learn and assist with auto-scaling mechanisms like KEDA. * Support infrastructure provisioning using Terraform under guidance. * Assist with multi-stack application delivery (Python, Java, Node.js, Angular). * Support monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. * Follow DevOps security best practices, including image scanning and secrets handling. * Utilize GenAI-enabled tools for troubleshooting and productivity. * Document processes and contribute to DevOps standards.
Qualifications: * 1-2 years of experience or relevant hands-on exposure to DevOps or cloud engineering. * Basic understanding of Git, GitHub, and CI/CD concepts. * Fundamental knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. * Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (Bash, Python, or JavaScript). * Basic exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred). * Interest in cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. * Willingness to learn and use AI copilots or GenAI tools.
