Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer to lead and participate in complex software development initiatives. You will be responsible for assuring the quality, security, and compliance of supported systems and applications, serving as a technical resource for software solutions. This role involves reviewing user needs, determining requirements, providing technical support, and designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs using Agile development practices. You will also ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met and collaborate with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Researching and resolving process-related problems, recommending solutions, and assisting colleagues in advanced software development are also key aspects of this position. We are looking for candidates with expertise in full-stack development, including single-page applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript with modern frameworks like React.js and Bootstrap. Experience with large-scale application development using Java, Python, Go, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential, along with proficiency in deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud-native development experience on GCP and using Terraform is desired. Additionally, candidates with experience in designing and developing Generative AI frameworks and applications using tools like ADK, OpenAI Agent Frameworks, LangChain, and LangGraph will be highly valued. A proven track record in designing and developing scalable, secure, and performant enterprise-grade applications, coupled with an agile and self-starter mindset, is expected. This is a hands-on individual contributor role.
