Accenture is seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer in Bengaluru/Bangalore, Karnataka, to design, code, and enhance software solutions tailored to specific business needs. This role involves developing scalable, high-performing applications using modern frameworks and agile practices.
As a Custom Software Engineer, your typical day will include understanding requirements, translating them into functional software, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You will continuously refine and enhance software for improved performance and usability, demonstrating attention to detail and adaptability throughout the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include independent problem-solving, contributing to team discussions, and providing solutions to work-related challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements, troubleshoot and resolve software issues, and document development processes. Mentoring junior team members is also expected.
**Key Skills:** * **Must-Have:** Unix Shell Scripting (writing efficient scripts, automation, debugging, performance tuning in Unix environments, integration with other components). * **Good-to-Have:** Amdocs CRM, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PL/SQL), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
**Requirements:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting. * 15 years of full-time education. * Experience in PL/SQL is highly desirable.
