Join JPMorgan Chase's Commercial and Investment Bank, Markets Tech Team, as a Senior Software Engineer in Mumbai. You'll be a key player in our agile environment, designing and delivering secure, stable, and scalable market-leading technology products. Your role involves developing and maintaining critical technology solutions across diverse business functions, driving the firm's objectives forward.
Key responsibilities include: * Writing, testing, and maintaining Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure provisioning. * Deploying and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform workflows, including state management and change controls. * Overseeing code deployments to production environments. * Automating security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation. * Championing and implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices. * Collaborating to design and implement robust, observable, and reliable complex systems. * Developing expertise in applications and platforms, understanding their interdependencies. * Evolving and debugging critical application and platform components. * Providing guidance and solutions to support the firm's growth.
We're looking for candidates with: * Formal software engineering training/certification and 3+ years of applied experience. * Strong hands-on Terraform experience, including module authoring, state management, and safe rollout. * Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. * Extensive AWS infrastructure deployment experience in production. * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work independently on design and functionality challenges. * Practical cloud-native experience.
