JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Corporate Data and Analytics Services team in Bengaluru. You will be a key member of an agile team responsible for designing, developing, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable market-leading technology products. Your role will involve executing critical technology solutions across various business functions, leveraging your expertise in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and software development best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing robust software solutions, including troubleshooting and problem-solving with innovative approaches.
- Writing secure, high-quality production code and maintaining efficient algorithms.
- Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring adherence to design constraints.
- Analyzing and synthesizing large, diverse datasets to drive improvements in software applications and systems.
- Proactively identifying issues and patterns in data to enhance coding practices and system architecture.
- Contributing to the broader software engineering community and exploring emerging technologies.
We require 5+ years of applied software engineering experience, proficiency in Python, hands-on experience with PySpark for data processing applications, and practical experience with cloud technologies like AWS and Azure. You should also have solid experience in system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and database querying. A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security) is essential.
