Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive Mainframe expertise. In this role, you will lead moderately complex technical initiatives, contributing to large-scale strategy planning and execution within our technology domain. You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting solutions for projects and programs. This includes managing upgrades and deployments, and resolving complex technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
You will collaborate with peers and management to address technical challenges and achieve project goals. As a lead, you will act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced team members.
**Required Qualifications:**
* 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
**Desired Qualifications:**
* Hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, Webservice, DB2, MQ, and VSAM.
