Join Guidewire's Product Development & Operations (PDO) organization as a Software Engineer II in Bengaluru. You will be instrumental in delivering secure, scalable, and efficient cloud operations, driving innovation across AI, cloud, and data platforms. Your work on our multi-tenant, cloud-native Integration Gateway platform will be critical to enhancing service reliability, security, and infusing GenAI into products. As a hands-on engineer, you will spend over 90% of your time coding in modern Java and Spring Boot, owning microservices end-to-end. This includes designing, implementing, and ensuring the scalability, availability, and security of services in a public cloud environment (AWS or similar). You will collaborate with product and operations teams to build reliable integrations that empower P&C insurers globally. Key responsibilities include developing and operating cloud-native services, building and evolving microservices and APIs, owning CI/CD pipelines, implementing observability for production systems, and debugging across the stack. You will also maintain secure coding practices and leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
