Join JPMorgan Chase's Chief Technology Office as a Lead Software Engineer on the Engineer Services Platform (ESP) team. You will be a key technical contributor, designing, developing, and operating platform services that govern the secure, stable, and scalable consumption of open-source software across the firm. Your work will directly impact our ability to strengthen governance controls and provide transparency into open-source usage and compliance health metrics.
In this role, you will build and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines, including event-driven and batch streaming architectures, using technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Airflow. You will design and implement robust distributed data systems, optimize end-to-end performance on AWS and cloud-native services, and ensure security, governance, and cost-effectiveness. You will also partner with stakeholders to define data contracts, integration patterns, and operational runbooks, and contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews and best practices.
