Accenture is seeking a Senior Custom Software Engineer for our Pune, Maharashtra office. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing custom software solutions across various systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. Your responsibilities will include acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating with and managing teams, making key project decisions, and providing solutions to technical challenges for both immediate and multiple teams. You will also lead process improvement initiatives to boost team productivity and software quality, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure project alignment and timely delivery. This position requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile practices, risk management, and issue resolution within agile frameworks, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
