Join Accenture in Chennai as a Custom Software Engineer, where you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing software components across various systems and applications. This role demands a strong foundation in Data Engineering and extensive experience in Quality Assurance, including manual and automated testing. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through coding, documentation, and rigorous testing. Your responsibilities will extend to the deployment, ongoing maintenance, and optimization of the solutions you build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective, secure, and maintainable custom software solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive Quality Assurance Testing, including unit, integration, UI, and performance testing, alongside manual and automated testing.
- Optimize database design and performance.
- Contribute to build pipeline maintenance and related infrastructure.
- Adhere to software craftsmanship principles, including clean code, peer reviews, and pair programming.
- Identify opportunities for synergies, optimizations, and refactorings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Owners, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other team members, on feature evaluation, planning, and consultation.
- Provide 3rd level support and engage in release management activities.
This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering and a full-time education of 15 years.
