You will be an integral part of a feature team, leveraging your extensive experience to engineer complex software, scripts, and tools. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform to deliver high-quality, business-adding software rapidly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engineering and maintaining software solutions throughout their full lifecycle, from development to decommissioning.
- Collaborating with teams to optimize software engineering capabilities.
- Designing, coding, testing, and implementing working code.
- Working across the entire software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in software engineering, design, and architecture, with a clear understanding of how your expertise benefits our customers. Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis is essential. Proficiency in Java, Microservices, and GCP cloud is required. You should also have experience with DevOps, Testing, and Agile methodologies and their associated toolsets. A proven ability to solve highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems is crucial. Experience in implementing programming best practices, particularly around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability, and performance, is highly valued.
