JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with specialized expertise in the Transact platform to join our Asset and Wealth Management Technology team. In this role, you will leverage your hands-on development experience and deep domain knowledge to contribute to critical lending capabilities. You will be instrumental in AA configuration and architecture for corporate loan modules, perform L3 Java development, and support key lending functionalities including Facility modules, Guarantees (Contingent Liability), and MD.Deal. Your responsibilities will extend to developing and supporting Transact APIs, resolving complex issues within corporate lending and related modules, managing deployments via DSF, and advising on platform stability and compliance through upgrade and update processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Arrangement Architecture (AA) with strong hands-on AA configuration experience in Facility and Corporate lending modules, coupled with excellent functional understanding.
- Designing, building, and supporting solutions through L3 Java development, including complex changes, debugging, and performance optimizations.
- Providing functional and technical expertise for Guarantees / Contingent Liability and MD.Deal modules.
- Driving and supporting Transact API integrations, encompassing design approach, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and ensuring operational readiness.
- Troubleshooting issues related to services and the COB process, and developing solutions as needed.
- Analyzing and resolving DSF-related issues, coordinating with dependent teams and vendors.
- Conducting development-level reviews, including design, code, configuration, and testing strategies, ensuring production readiness.
- Contributing to platform migrations and providing high-level knowledge on upgrade and update processes.
- Collaborating with product, QA, operations, and peer engineering teams to achieve project goals and remove impediments.
