JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our Employee Platforms team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be a vital member of an agile team, responsible for designing and delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable technology products. You will tackle complex technical challenges, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to critical technology initiatives across various business functions to achieve firm-wide objectives. Your responsibilities will include executing software solutions, designing and developing applications, and troubleshooting technical issues with a focus on creative problem-solving. You'll write secure, production-ready code and maintain efficient algorithms. This role also involves producing architecture and design artifacts for intricate applications, ensuring adherence to design constraints. You'll analyze and visualize large datasets to drive continuous improvement of our software applications and proactively identify and address system-level issues. Additionally, you will contribute to our internal software engineering communities, exploring emerging technologies. We require a strong understanding of software engineering concepts, 3+ years of applied experience, and proficiency in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Expertise in JavaScript, React JS, or Angular, along with Node.js, is essential. Experience with modern programming languages, database querying, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is expected. A solid grasp of agile methodologies like CI/CD, application resiliency, and security is crucial. Demonstrated knowledge in areas such as cloud technologies or AI is beneficial. We strongly encourage an AI-first approach, utilizing tools like GitHub Copilot and MS Copilot. Familiarity with backend technologies like Java and exposure to AWS are preferred.
