Join JPMorgan Chase as a Software Engineer II on the TaxSmart platform team and advance your quality engineering career. You'll play a crucial role in supporting significant multi-year initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to define testing strategies that ensure platform delivery, quality, and stability. Your responsibilities will include creating, executing, and automating test cases, and contributing to non-functional testing. This role involves developing reusable automated frameworks, understanding application requirements through collaboration with cross-functional teams and business users, and investing in test automation for manual feature development. You will partner with release and DevOps teams for pre and post-deployment tests and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and vendors. Experience with Python, NodeJS, Java, Java Script, Groovy, SQL, and big data is essential, alongside proficiency in UI and API automation, Git, and CI/CD tools. A strong understanding of Asset and Wealth Management functioning and trading is beneficial, as is familiarity with QE best practices, SDLC, metrics, and release management. We seek candidates with excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
