Forterro is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Product Research & Development team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, maintaining, and testing sophisticated software products. You will work independently on both frontend and backend components, applying your engineering expertise to implement features, resolve complex issues, and ensure the highest product quality. This position involves contributing to our Java-based services and supporting end-to-end full stack product delivery. You will collaborate closely with team members on requirements analysis and contribute to effective and timely software delivery. Additionally, you will evaluate existing systems and processes, recommending improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
This role operates under Forterro's hybrid work model, requiring office presence during onboarding and adherence to local hybrid policies thereafter.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain software features for Java full stack applications using approved tools and frameworks. - Implement and maintain backend functionality with Java and Spring Boot. - Build and update frontend functionality, integrating with backend APIs. - Support requirements analysis and clarify technical needs. - Implement code changes and conduct unit and integration testing. - Adhere to established design patterns, coding standards, and development processes. - Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions. - Review and update technical documentation. - Communicate technical practices and procedures to team members and stakeholders. - Analyze systems and processes, recommending efficiency improvements.
Required Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Java full stack development.
