Join Crane Authentication, an integral part of Crane NXT, a leading industrial technology company. We are seeking a Mid to Senior Backend Software Engineer to build and enhance our AudioCheck and AudioAudit products, which are at the forefront of brand protection and copyright monitoring. Our innovative systems use audio fingerprinting and event-driven workflows, powered by technologies like Apache Kafka, to detect music infringements on social media.
You will play a key role in developing robust REST APIs, scalable event-driven microservices, and integrating with social platforms and AWS services. The ideal candidate is proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and TypeScript, with experience in cloud infrastructure. You will own features from design through deployment, contributing to a product that has a real-world impact for rights holders and brands globally. This is a dynamic phase of rapid development as we scale our solutions to new markets and major sports leagues.
Essential Responsibilities: * Collaborate with Product Owners/Business Analysts to understand, design, implement, and unit test software solutions. * Develop scalable information systems to meet evolving client and internal needs. * Ensure systems scale and support new feature delivery. * Modify existing software to fix bugs, adapt to new requirements, and improve performance. * Maintain high code quality, test coverage, and participate in code reviews. * Work within self-organized Scrum teams, actively participating in Agile ceremonies. * Design and implement microservices and APIs. * Mentor and inspire fellow engineers.
Work Environment: * Hybrid role with in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in our Panduranga Nagar, Bangalore office. * Collaborate with a global, remote team, with core working hours aligning with UTC (9 am - 2 pm UTC).
