Accenture is seeking a Custom Software Engineer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to design, build, and configure applications meeting business process and application requirements. This role focuses on delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP). You will leverage AI assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate tasks such as requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and issue resolution. The position requires strong hands-on experience in ECP or SAP HCM Payroll fundamentals, including PCRs, schemas, retrocalculations, and payroll calendars. You will also integrate pre-built AI services for anomaly detection and summarization, enhancing productivity without requiring deep AI model engineering. Key responsibilities include configuring ECP, supporting the full delivery cycle, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems, and performing payroll simulations and validations with AI assistance. You will collaborate with HR, finance, and technical teams, ensuring compliance with regulations and data privacy laws. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with AI-enabled workflows are essential.
