Accenture is seeking a skilled Senior Roku Application Developer with a strong JavaScript background to join our team in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring custom applications to meet evolving business process and application requirements.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will collaborate with and guide development teams, contributing to key decisions and providing solutions to complex problems across multiple teams. You will be responsible for monitoring project progress, ensuring timely delivery of application features, and facilitating knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing video streaming applications for Roku using BrightScript, Scenegraph XML, and relevant Roku APIs. You will integrate with third-party libraries for player analytics and advertising, and ensure familiarity with video encoding (HLS, DASH) and DRM. Experience with performance optimization on Roku devices, app certification processes, and consuming RESTful services with JSON will be critical to your success.
This role requires a minimum of 7.5 years of JavaScript experience, along with a strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML and CSS, and familiarity with back-end technologies and RESTful APIs. You should possess excellent debugging skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications effectively.
