Accenture is seeking a talented Custom Software Engineer to join our team in Gurugram, Haryana. In this role, you will lead the design, build, and configuration of applications, serving as the primary point of contact. You will leverage your expertise in Workday US Payroll to gather requirements, develop innovative solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of applications that meet business needs. This includes troubleshooting, optimizing existing systems, and providing guidance to team members. You are expected to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), actively contribute to team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems. Responsibilities also include assisting with project documentation, user manuals, and mentoring junior team members. We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance regulations, system integration, and data migration. Familiarity with reporting tools and payroll-related analytics is beneficial. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Workday US Payroll is mandatory, along with a mandatory certification in this primary skill. A full-time education of 15 years is also required.
