Accenture is seeking a skilled Senior Custom Software Engineer with a strong focus on performance testing and monitoring. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet critical business and application requirements. You will leverage your expertise in Java, Python, and Unix shell scripting to develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
A typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project needs, developing application features, and ensuring seamless integration within the existing infrastructure. You will actively engage in testing and troubleshooting to enhance application performance and user experience, utilizing tools like Micro Focus LoadRunner, JMeter, Dynatrace, and Splunk for in-depth analysis. Your responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing performance metrics, documenting findings, and providing test summaries and dashboards to stakeholders. You will also play a key role in defect management and triage, coordinating with vendors and development teams for timely resolution. Experience managing performance testing environments, preparing test data, and simulating real-world scenarios is essential.
