Accenture is seeking a Custom Software Engineer with expertise in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Tagetik Planning to join our team in Bengaluru / Bangalore, Karnataka. In this role, you will leverage modular architectures, next-generation integration techniques, and a cloud-first, mobile-first approach to guide Application Development Teams. You will work within an Agile framework to deliver value across projects of varying scopes and scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end delivery of Tagetik solutions for budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, close processes, and management reporting.
- Collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective Tagetik solutions.
- Ensuring Tagetik model architecture, design, and configuration align with best practices and business needs.
- Overseeing data integration and automation between Tagetik and other systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS, Data Warehouse).
- Managing system upgrades, patching, testing, and change control processes.
- Providing leadership on project planning, stakeholder communication, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Ensuring data integrity, process controls, and audit readiness within Tagetik environments.
- Maintaining and enhancing Tagetik reporting tools, dashboards, and templates.
- Training and supporting end users to drive adoption and process excellence.
- Adhering to quality processes, including reviews and defect logging.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in EPM/CPM platforms, with at least 2 years of hands-on Tagetik experience. Proficiency in data modeling, ETL, SQL, AIH, and integration techniques is essential. Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consolidations, statutory & management reporting, and excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are also required.
