Accenture is seeking an experienced Custom Software Engineer to lead application design, build, and configuration efforts in Gurugram, Haryana. As a key point of contact, you will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure application development aligns with business goals, oversee project timelines, and facilitate stakeholder communication for successful project delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Data Services, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. You will be expected to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), manage and guide your team, make critical decisions, and provide solutions to complex problems across multiple teams. Responsibilities include facilitating team development, monitoring project progress, and ensuring applications meet all functional and technical requirements.
Key responsibilities include acting as an SME, collaborating with and managing the team, being responsible for team decisions, and contributing to key decisions across multiple teams. You will provide solutions to immediate team and cross-team problems, facilitate training and development, and monitor project progress for timely delivery.
Must-have skills include extensive experience as a Databricks developer and architect with strong PySpark proficiency, knowledge of the Medallion architecture, and the ability to create PySpark-based ETL templates. You should possess advanced SQL skills, experience with relational databases, and proficiency in query authoring. Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets is essential, along with a strong understanding of the Azure cloud platform and data modeling.
Good-to-have skills include experience with Azure DevOps, a strong understanding of cloud architecture and services, and familiarity with application lifecycle management and data integration/ETL processes.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Data Services and a 15-year full-time educational background. The position is based in Gurugram, Haryana.
