Join Red Hat's Core Platforms Engineering group as a Principal Software Engineer, contributing to cutting-edge Linux & Container technologies. This role focuses on Virtualization and Confidential Computing within Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of core kernel virtualization (KVM), system firmware, device emulation (storage, memory, networking), and their management layers. Your work will also extend to guest instances on various virtualized platforms and public clouds. Additionally, you will contribute to Confidential Computing enablement within the Linux Kernel and its ecosystem, including attestation technologies for containers, clusters, and virtual machines.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will take full ownership of design, coding, and quality assurance within an Agile Scrum team. This involves validating existing features, developing new functionalities, and providing L3 troubleshooting and support. You will collaborate with industry-leading open-source engineers, advocate for customer needs, and lead the development of innovative solutions.
