Microsoft Devices Software is developing new experiences on the Windows platform, creating innovative devices that empower everyone to achieve more. We are seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to join our Surface Product team in Bengaluru, India.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with silicon partners, system engineers, firmware engineers, and architects to deliver high-volume consumer product designs. You'll leverage cutting-edge silicon to enable new user experiences, drive innovation, and plan future product roadmaps. This position involves defining architecture, leading platform bring-up for new devices, and working with global teams to enhance Surface software and firmware.
You will be responsible for debugging complex system-level issues, staying current with industry UEFI development standards, and proposing effective software solutions. We are looking for a collaborative team player who challenges the status quo and seeks more efficient processes.
