As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance distributed systems, focusing on multi-threading, concurrency, and NoSQL databases. You will own solutions from ideation to execution, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to drive impact. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building scalable web applications and platforms.
- Developing efficient solutions for high-level business and technical problems.
- Performing incremental architectural changes and impact analysis.
- Optimizing performance in large-scale distributed systems.
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering team spirit.
- Collaborating closely with Product Managers to define and deliver features.
We are looking for experienced engineers with a strong foundation in Java, C++, or similar languages, extensive experience in multi-threading, and a deep understanding of design patterns. Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Aerospike, or Elasticsearch, along with MySQL, is essential. A passion for Test Driven Development (TDD) and experience working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with a high degree of ownership is highly valued.
