ConnectWise is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer II to join our Pune team. In this pivotal technical leadership role, you will develop high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software, strictly adhering to coding standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and standards-aligned software deliverables. Your responsibilities will include hands-on coding in .NET, driving design discussions, and actively contributing to code reviews. You will leverage AI in daily development to foster an AI culture. Key duties involve providing meticulous support to Engineering teams, conducting research and analysis to inform decisions, and mentoring other team members. You will design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems critical to the company's operations. Debugging production issues across various services and multiple stack levels is essential. You will also contribute to enhancing organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes, and participate actively in the software testing lifecycle. Continuous learning and staying abreast of current technologies and programming practices are expected. This role requires demonstrated ability to manage large projects independently, recognized subject matter expertise in .NET, and a comprehensive understanding of software engineering concepts. You should be proficient in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 12+ years of relevant experience is required. This is a hybrid role based in Pune, with potential for 0-10% travel.
