DocuSign is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent, enterprise-grade software solutions with a strong focus on agentic AI systems and complex integrations across People Technology platforms. This hands-on engineering role requires deep expertise in software design, distributed systems, APIs, and AI-enabled architectures. You will develop and operate custom applications, AI agents, middleware services, and integration frameworks connecting core People Technology platforms with enterprise and external systems. Key responsibilities include applying agentic AI patterns such as orchestration, tool-using agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and workflow automation to enhance system intelligence, resilience, and developer productivity. You will partner closely with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, and HR Technology stakeholders, maintaining accountability for code quality, system reliability, scalability, and security. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications - HRIS.
