Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is seeking an Axiom Developer/Software Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding software requirements and translating them into high-quality, working source code within established timelines. You will collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of projects and actively participate in production incident resolution. This position involves managing application/infrastructure production configurations, processes, and releases. You will also contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, writing well-designed, testable code and ensuring application designs align with business goals.
Key responsibilities include: * Developing and testing software to high-quality standards. * Providing production support and resolving issues in a timely manner. * Understanding and applying Agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test-driven development, model storming). * Prioritizing work based on agreed iteration goals. * Sharing best practices with team members. * Working flexibly to support Paris hours.
Required Qualifications: * Hands-on Axiom application development experience. * Hands-on ETL and Database Development experience. * Strong in Oracle PL/SQL & Unix. * 5+ years of application building experience in a professional environment. * Good understanding of modern and traditional databases and SQL. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: * 5-8 years of Axiom experience with successful project delivery. * Proficiency in Freeform report building and Taxonomy reports. * Experience in developing and performance tuning of reports and deployments.
