Accenture is seeking a talented SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting Software Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing custom software solutions, designing, coding, and enhancing components across enterprise systems. You'll leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions precisely tailored to meet specific business needs, with a strong focus on SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. You will maintain and improve existing software components, troubleshoot complex issues within SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting, and document development processes. We encourage active participation in team discussions and expect you to contribute to problem-solving, potentially becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
This role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile practices, analyzing system requirements, and integrating solutions within enterprise resource planning systems. Experience in customizing and configuring SAP modules, particularly within financial accounting processes, is essential. You will also provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Key qualifications include proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting, a minimum of 3 years of experience in this area, and a 15-year full-time educational background. This position is based at our Chennai office.
