Swiggy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SDE III) with 6-9 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka. In this role, you will be instrumental in owning the end-to-end design and architecture of complex systems, contributing significantly to our technology vision and team's success. You will collaborate with product and business teams to translate product features into high-level and low-level designs, guiding the development of mission-critical applications.
We are looking for individuals who are technically hands-on, with deep expertise in designing and developing real-time internet or high-scale SaaS applications. You should possess excellent command over Data Structures & Algorithms, exceptional coding skills in Java or Golang, and strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with web technologies such as Java Spring, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Solr, and Redis is essential. Experience with high-performance services handling millions of daily traffic is a significant plus.
Your responsibilities will include enabling best practices for technical tasks, driving the adoption of these practices, participating in code and design reviews, and leading architecture discussions. You will also experiment with new technologies, drive innovation, and implement the long-term technology vision for your team, including the complete architecture of your product and designing new solutions. You will be responsible for technology and tool choices for your team.
