This role is crucial for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the automation test coverage of our web applications and solutions. You will lead automation initiatives, design robust automation frameworks, implement test strategies, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include architecting scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications, defining automation standards, developing automated test suites using Python, performing API automation with Postman and Playwright, and integrating tests into CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure. You will also analyze test failures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, track automation metrics, and continuously evaluate new tools. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Agile methodologies, Jira, and performance testing with JMeter is required.
