Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) Utility Computing (UC) as a Software Development Engineer on the Aurora Control Plane team in India. You will contribute to building and managing AWS's leading managed relational database services, focusing on enhancing performance, availability, and maintainability. This role involves tackling complex challenges in distributed systems, concurrency, database internals, caching, and query optimization. You will have the opportunity to define development and testing standards, mentor junior engineers, and hire for the team. We are looking for a smart, driven individual with excellent software development and testing skills, a strong understanding of relational databases and distributed systems, and the ability to excel in an ambiguous environment. A strong sense of ownership, passion for customer experience, and excellent troubleshooting skills are essential.
