JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Commercial & Investment Bank technology team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be a key contributor to designing and delivering market-leading technology products securely, stably, and at scale. You will be instrumental in developing and executing critical technology solutions across diverse business functions, focusing on automation and performance testing of core banking applications on the mainframe.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and executing comprehensive test strategies to model real-world client usage.
- Automating tests across multiple technologies to validate system capacity and resilience.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to review requirements, ensure production stability, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Driving technical troubleshooting with a proactive and innovative approach.
- Gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data to identify performance bottlenecks and drive improvements.
- Presenting technical and business insights, including risks and tuning recommendations.
We are looking for candidates with:
- 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience in mainframe manual testing and operational stability.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts.
- Proven experience in developing test approaches, plans, and scenarios.
- Ability to model client behavior, build load models, and understand application dependencies.
Preferred qualifications include experience with zSeries Mainframe, IBM MQ, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies (CI/CD).
