Wolters Kluwer India is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. In this role, you will design, develop, test, debug, and deploy moderately complex software solutions. You will contribute to creating and supporting essential software tools and utilities for system operation and maintenance. This position involves making modifications to existing software, maintaining program libraries, and technical documentation, while also assisting in planning and implementation to ensure adherence to schedules.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and deploying reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions for our global clients. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, code reviews, and sprint demos, ensuring designs align with approved architectural patterns. Continuous learning of new technologies, idea generation, and improving technology utilization within the product are also integral to this role. You will provide support for production issues.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of software industry experience. You should have mature experience working in agile teams with modern back-end development, database, and DevOps technologies, with a proven ability to quickly adopt new technologies. Collaboration with developers and team members to establish objectives and design functional code is crucial. Experience with architectural and design patterns for business-tier web development, code reviews, and providing technical guidance is expected.
Tasks include compiling and analyzing data, processes, and codes for troubleshooting and improvement, developing backend services with Java and Spring Boot, and fine-tuning SQL queries. You will also develop front-end applications using Angular, adhering to best practices and defined architecture. Proactive participation in backlog refinement, incident resolution, performance analysis, documentation, and progress reporting within SCRUM frameworks are key. You will collaborate closely with front-end and back-end developers within SCRUM teams and leverage AI to drive its adoption in software development.

Essential competencies include strong collaboration and listening skills, being a fast learner who enjoys new technologies, excellent English communication (written and verbal), ability to work in a distributed international environment, responsiveness in handling critical support issues, and strong analytical skills.
