As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of AI products for our clients. This role involves leading a team of software engineers, collaborating with data engineers and research scientists, and contributing to the secure, stable, and scalable delivery of cutting-edge AI technology.
Your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance to business and technical teams, developing and reviewing high-quality production code, and driving decisions that impact product design and technical operations. You will act as a subject matter expert, advocate for firm-wide engineering practices, and influence the adoption of advanced technologies.
We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in software engineering concepts and practical experience in cloud environments (AWS or GCP). You should possess a solid understanding of data engineering processes, including data lake/warehouse technologies (Spark, ETL, Databricks), and have extensive development experience with Python and SQL.
