Join JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Software Engineer within our Asset & Wealth Management technology team. In this crucial role, you will be a key contributor to designing and delivering market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. You will leverage your expertise to implement critical technology solutions across diverse business functions, directly supporting the firm's strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will include partnering with other technology teams on Large Language Model (LLM) projects, providing expert advice and assistance. You will collaborate closely with Data Science and Cybersecurity teams to deliver cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) products. Working with DevOps engineers, you will plan and deploy robust data storage and processing systems. You will also be instrumental in executing creative software solutions, encompassing design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This role involves developing secure, high-quality production code, as well as reviewing and debugging code written by peers. A significant aspect of this position is staying ahead of advancements in AI technologies and driving their integration into our operational frameworks.
We are seeking individuals with formal software engineering training or certifications and a minimum of 3 years of applied experience. You should possess advanced Python programming skills and proven experience in building and operating scalable ML-driven products. Hands-on experience with both Azure and AWS is required, along with experience working within a highly regulated environment and a demonstrated ability to iterate quickly. Proficiency across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle is essential, as is experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You should also have experience in the design and delivery of large-scale cloud-native architectures, along with expertise in microservices performance tuning, optimization, and real-time applications.
