**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and implement creative software solutions.
- Write secure, high-quality production code and perform peer code reviews.
- Identify and automate remediation for recurring issues to enhance operational stability.
- Lead evaluations of technical solutions and vendor offerings.
- Drive adoption of new and leading-edge technologies through communities of practice.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in relevant technical areas.
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive team environment.
**Required Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of applied experience in Java software development and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes.
- Expertise in complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and database optimization.
- Experience with ETL architecture, analysis, design, development, and testing.
- Proficiency in Core Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- 8+ years of applied experience in the database space.
