Join NICE Actimize's AI and Analytics Team as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the development of a next-generation advanced analytical cloud platform. This role involves building cutting-edge cloud-based solutions to combat financial crime, leveraging powerful data insights for our clients' programs. You will architect, design, and develop scalable, resilient, and enterprise-grade products, serving as a technical leader within a dynamic Agile team. Responsibilities include driving end-to-end technical projects, providing expert guidance and code reviews, innovating continuously, and owning the technical roadmap for high-availability systems. You will implement infrastructure through automation on AWS and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve business objectives. We are looking for individuals with a strong sense of ownership and a proven track record of delivering performant, resilient, and cost-efficient applications.
**Key Responsibilities:** * Architect, design, and develop scalable cloud-native products. * Lead technical projects from conception to production. * Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews. * Innovate and pitch new ideas for platform advancement. * Own and maintain the technical roadmap for high-availability systems. * Collaborate effectively within Agile and SAFe methodologies. * Implement and improve system monitoring and observability. * Automate infrastructure deployment on AWS.
**Qualifications:** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. * 4-8 years of software development experience. * Expert-level proficiency in Python and native AWS development. * Experience with data structures and algorithms. * Proven experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory). * Experience designing and building microservices on cloud platforms. * Experience with Docker containers and hosting on EKS/ECS. * Hands-on experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Glue, Lambda, Step-Function, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, SQS). * Experience with high-volume data pipelines. * Familiarity with DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, Terraform). * Prior experience in Finance, Fraud, or AML is a plus. * Exposure to GenAI tools like Co-pilot. * Excellent spoken and written English.
