Vital Op is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering Development group in Bengaluru. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, integrating, and testing complex software solutions for our innovative financial technology platform. Working both independently and collaboratively, you'll contribute to custom solutions across the entire platform, from front-end to back-end. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic projects, enjoys problem-solving, and can rapidly learn and engineer solutions using a mix of open technologies and proprietary frameworks. Responsibilities include delivering solutions in live production, supporting and maintaining custom features, ensuring adherence to security and privacy policies, and mentoring teammates with technical leadership and best practices.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with 5-8 years of full-stack .NET development expertise, including SQL Server, C#, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with MVVM and front-end frameworks like Vue, Angular, or React is essential. Experience with test automation, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Agile development environments is expected. Proficiency in Python and SQL is also required. While not mandatory, domain experience in banking is a plus. You should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be comfortable with occasional on-call support.
