Molex CES is seeking a self-directed Software Engineer to join our DSS division in Bengaluru. You will customize and maintain Python-based desktop software for test systems used in global manufacturing, supporting high-speed electrical interconnects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build solutions for product testing and qualification. You'll provide daily support for manufacturing software, implement customer-specific configurations, and work with engineering teams to verify high-speed electrical performance. Responsibilities include creating and executing test plans, analyzing test data, resolving failures, and integrating software with test equipment. Experience with EEPROM programming and debugging low-level communication issues (I²C) is crucial. You will also develop and maintain software interfaces for EEPROM programming and derive EEPROM data formats from industry specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, 3-5 years of Python software engineering experience, and familiarity with JIRA, SVN, or Gitlab. Experience with Arduino/Teensy and a strong understanding of the I²C protocol are advantageous.
