Milliman is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon/Gurugram. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role offers a blend of data engineering and application development, requiring adaptability across different project types. You'll collaborate with internal teams, contribute to innovative technologies, and translate requirements into functional applications.
Key Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using various programming languages. * Develop and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines using Spark SQL, Python, and Databricks. * Contribute to the development of desktop (.NET, WPF) and cloud-based (.NET Core, ASP.NET) applications. * Collaborate on software design and architecture. * Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure application performance and quality. * Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs. * Deploy and manage applications or data workloads on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. * Work effectively with ambiguous requirements and minimal supervision, demonstrating a strong focus on performance, security, scalability, and testability.
Qualifications: * 2-4 years of relevant experience. * Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes using Spark SQL, Python, and Databricks. * Proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core, WPF, ASP.NET). * Experience with Microsoft Azure or other modern cloud platforms. * Strong understanding of multi-threaded programming, OOP concepts, and design patterns. * Familiarity with SQL Server and Git. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
