Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will lead moderately complex technical initiatives, contributing to large-scale strategic planning. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software solutions, including upgrades and deployments.
Key responsibilities include evaluating and resolving technical challenges, collaborating with peers and managers, and acting as an escalation point to guide less experienced staff. This position requires a strong understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in Java development, with hands-on experience in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data), ORM technologies (Hibernate/JPA), and building/consuming web services (RESTful, SOAP). Expertise in Microservices design and development, Kafka for event streaming, and cloud platforms like AWS is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is also desired.
