Siemens is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in test automation using Cypress to join our vibrant international team in Pune, Maharashtra. You will leverage your 5-8 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. This role requires advanced proficiency in Cypress (13.x+) and TypeScript (5.x+), strong JavaScript fundamentals, and a solid understanding of SQL for backend validation (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar). You will work with Git for version control and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. A deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC practices is essential, along with experience in building page object models and custom Cypress commands. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API testing within test automation is also expected.
