Join NVIDIA's Cumulus Linux Verification Engineering Team as a Software Test Engineer in Bengaluru/Bangalore. You will be instrumental in verifying groundbreaking features of NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux, taking ownership of the entire verification lifecycle. This includes participating in requirements and design reviews, developing comprehensive test plans, executing tests, and building automated test solutions for specific features. You'll contribute to a dynamic team responsible for qualifying the Network Operating System powering modern data centers that support AI and high-performance computing. Your responsibilities will include functional testing of Layer 2 and Layer 3 features on NVIDIA-Mellanox Spectrum series Ethernet Switch systems running NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux. You will define and design test beds and topologies, meticulously report defects, and validate fixes. Developing and maintaining automated test suites for continuous functional regression is a key aspect of this role. Collaboration with design, test, and other engineering groups to resolve issues is essential.
We are seeking candidates with a B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science/related field and 3+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Engineering. Strong technical, problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills are required. Hands-on experience with Layer 2/3 protocols (e.g., MLAG, STP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN) and familiarity with network testing tools like Spirent are essential. Experience with test management tools, programming languages such as Python or other scripting languages, and working with Unix/Linux-based OS are crucial. Exposure to emerging networking technologies and best practices is a plus. The ability to multitask, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent teamwork are expected.
Stand out candidates will have relevant certifications, knowledge in performance testing and troubleshooting, and experience with CI methodologies and tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
