JPMorgan Chase is seeking a skilled Software Engineer III to join our Consumer & Community Banking Team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be a key member of an agile team, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You'll tackle complex technical challenges across various business functions, contributing critical solutions that support our firm's objectives.
Key responsibilities include executing software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with an innovative approach. You will write secure, high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. A significant part of your role will involve gathering and analyzing large datasets to drive continuous improvement of our software applications and systems, proactively identifying issues and patterns to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture. You will also contribute to our internal software engineering communities, exploring new technologies and fostering a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
**Required Qualifications:** * 3+ years of applied experience in Java, AWS, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Terraform. * Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. * Proficiency in Java, SQL, and React.js, with an understanding of software development best practices. * Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle or PostgreSQL. * Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods. * Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, KMS, ECS, EKS, S3, EMR, Athena, SQS, and EventBridge. * Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. * Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security. * Demonstrated proficiency in technical disciplines such as cloud computing. * In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems.
