Autodesk, a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Fusion 360 team in Pune, Maharashtra. Join our dynamic, Agile Scrum team on a multi-year journey to revolutionize the Design to Manufacture world with cloud-based technology. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining features for Fusion 360, primarily using C++ and Qt. This role emphasizes full ownership of delivered work, a strong focus on test automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality features for Fusion 360 in a 2-week Agile sprint environment.
- Apply strong C++ programming skills, Object-Oriented Programming principles, and Design Patterns.
- Write technical design documents, participate in code reviews, and provide task estimates.
- Collaborate closely with developers, quality assurance, and UX designers.
- Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and mentor junior team members.
- Program primarily in C++ on Windows using Microsoft Visual Studio and on macOS using Xcode.
- Participate in global technical discussions and events.
