HighLevel is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Platform Data team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing shared frameworks, libraries, and core services that underpin HighLevel's AI-powered business operating system. You will tackle complex, large-scale engineering challenges, focusing on our mission-critical data platforms built on technologies like SQL (Postgres), MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse.
We are looking for engineers with deep expertise in managing and optimizing large-scale databases (handling terabytes to petabytes of data and billions of records) and a proven track record in distributed systems. You will lead technical design, drive performance and reliability improvements, and mentor other engineers. Your work will involve designing, configuring, and optimizing data systems, developing reusable frameworks and services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and maintainability of our platform.
This position requires strong coding and system design skills, a deep understanding of distributed systems principles, and experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) for database automation.
