NielsenIQ is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Digital-shelf platform team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services that power real-time analytics for CPG brands. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, focusing on optimizing applications for performance and security.
Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain backend services with a focus on scalability and performance. * Implement efficient algorithms and contribute to seamless user experiences using Python and Golang. * Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data researchers. * Optimize applications for performance, security, and responsiveness. * Lead architectural discussions and mentor junior developers. * Build and integrate RESTful APIs. * Own end-to-end feature delivery, including infrastructure, backend, and frontend components. * Contribute to Agile practices.
About Digital-shelf at NIQ: Digital-shelf is a powerful, collaborative analytics platform that helps brands master their omnichannel data, providing actionable insights and strategic guidance through real-time e-store data and advanced AI algorithms.
Qualifications: * 5-7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role. * Proficiency in Golang and Python. * Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). * Experience with RESTful APIs and Git. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. * Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
